A sketch of the dial of Konstantin Chaykin's Joker Wristmon, the first model in the Wrist Monsters collection.
The watch was introduced at the BaselWorld exhibition in 2017 and made its creator world-famous. The sketch is drawn with graphite pencil and nothing else. When working on it, the master wanted to find a way to depict with nothing but a pencil the effect created by one of the most striking finishing techniques, the guilloche.
Thanks to a combination of different shading techniques, Konstantin Chaykin managed to achieve exactly that.
