A design sketch for a spherical desk clock featuring simultaneous time indication across eleven Russian time zones.

For this project, Konstantin Chaykin opted for the most minimalist design possible. In the master’s conception, the desk clock was to omit the graphic interpretation of this function—namely the schematic map of Russia and the additional time-zone indicators—which had been used in the “Russian Time” wristwatch.
